For the 2022 Pottery Barn Airstream, the Cable/Satellite outdoor port can be repurposed to include a waterproof Ethernet connector (#ad) for Starlink!
We have a gen-1 Round Dish, so this connection requires no Ethernet wire crimping, only a shielded Ethernet cable (#ad) to run between this connector and your router.
- Connections
- Ethernet Cable (#ad): connect the cable from waterproof connector (limited space in the wall, so use the 90-degree plug end) to router (normal plug end) placed under the kitchen sink
- Electrical: The router can be plugged into the microwave’s electrical outlet. Temporarily removing the microwave oven involves removing 6 screws and sliding it out to get to the outlet. You will also need a multi-plug outlet/adapter (#ad) so the microwave and route can be plugged in at the same time.
Mounting Pole for Tongue Jack

We decided to mount this 24-foot WeBoost Telescoping Pole (mobilemusthave.com) to the tongue jack. Here are the items needed for that:
- Starlink to pole mount (#ad)
- Pole to tongue jack mount (#ad) – I bolted 2 of these together to make each of the 2 mounts and used the enclosed rubber bushings to keep the pole from rotating in the wind.
Mounting Pole for RV with Stairs
The Flagpole Buddy system (#ad) is especially nice for those RV’s with stairs that access the roof. It comes hardware to mount the pole to stairs and a mounting adaptor for the Starlink dishy.
